as i ve discovered numerous very very good music artists through south east asia, especially thailand & laos, i wanted to share with you some of my discovery

this song is very famous in thailand, the artist is Loso, and it s called 14 ( sip si with thai pronounciation) . It is about a guy who feels he is back to 14 een years old when he sees a girl… It s quite pop, very simple, but i just think the song is really beautiful and produce lot of intensity… Let me know your thoughts…

i will try to bring you the best i found in hip hop and rock scene in the next few days !

dear all, and especially my friends in laos…

listening to loso in my office, second floor of the little universal sodexho building on sissatanak, from my window, i can see the mekong and its paisible flow going down to the towards the sea… the exitement of moving to shanghai is melt with the sadness of leaving a country where i have learned a lot.

Above all i want to thanks all the people, my friends ( peter, matt, anke, brendon & cesar ) from everywhere, but also of course thank you to my lao friends, especially manillay ! Thank you also to my boss julien, for the good & bad moments but i ve learned a lot here with him… And also of course thank you for all the people who shared my office life almost every day, eb, kenkham, jashim & nitt, it has been lot of fun working with you guys !

Maybe i am not going to miss the road to phubia, 5 hours + of muddy, trailly, and doggy road to arrive on the mine site, or maybe a little…. Maybe i am not going to miss don chan, and those not very catholic friday nights, with difficult saturday morning…. But I will miss the sunset on the mekong river, driving by the city on the motorbike, the ideal temperature, the green lands, those bike trips around the country, and all the good time we had, here in vientiane, but also in vangvieng, or even bangkok …. Yes i will miss all of that, a lot, and i ll definitly come back to visit, or who knows maybe more than that !

for the moment i am off to re settling in shanghai, once again, i will try to start over something new, hopefully stable this time !
